В данной статье показано развитие и становление профилактической медицины в Республике Тыва, начиная с XIX в., когда в Туве не было специальных учреждений, занимавшихся профилактикой различных заболеваний. Лечебной практикой занимались шаманы и буддийские ламы, знающие тибетскую медицину, лекарственные травы. Становление профилактической медицины в Туве началось 1920-х гг. с началом экспедиции медико-санитарной экспедиции Наркомздрава РСФСР по оказанию квалифицированной помощи аратскому населению, развертыванию профилактической работы, формированию сети здравоохранения, создания условий для охраны материнства и детства, оздоровления быта, организации борьбы с социальными болезнями и помощи в подготовке национальных медицинских кадров. В 1956 г. была открыта первая экспозиция санитарного музея, представленная темами: здравоохранение в Тувинской автономной области, врачевание в прошлом, курортные богатства Тувы, жизнь и деятельность И.П. Павлова и имелись разделы, посвященные вопросам личной и общественной гигиены, профилактике различных заболеваний. Большой вклад в создании санитарного музея внес краевед П. Черкашин.
This article shows the development and formation of preventive medicine in Republic of Tyva since the 19th century, when there were no special institutions in Tuva dedicated to the prevention of various diseases. Medical practice were provided by shamans and Buddhist lamas who know Tibetan medicine and medicinal herbs. The development of preventive medicine in Tuva began in the 1920s. with the beginning of the expedition of the medical and sanitary expedition of the People's Commissariat of Health of the RSFSR to provide qualified assistance to the Arat population, to deploy preventive work, to form a health network, to create conditions for the protection of motherhood and childhood, to improve everyday life, to organize the fight against social diseases and to assist in the training of national medical personnel. In 1956, the first exposition of the sanitary museum was opened, featuring the following topics: healthcare in the Tuvan Autonomous Region, healing in the past, the resort wealth of Tuva, the life and work of I.P. Pavlov and there were sections devoted to personal and public hygiene, prevention of various diseases. Local historian P. Cherkashin made a great contribution to the creation of the sanitary museum.
